Our cat, Kiwi, is eight years old and a few months ago the vet diagnosed her with hepatic encephalopathy. A nervous system disorder brought on by severe liver disease. Her appetite decreased, and she started losing weight. Her behaviour changed too, she started hiding for most of the day. The vet said that there was nothing left to do.
